APPLICATION AREAS:

Aerated concrete can be safely applied on acrylic based old paints on polystyrene based materials and stone insulation materials such as stone wool sheets, which can carry itself in coarse pots which are made thin and smooth inside and outside of constructions.

FEATURES:

Due to its cement base and its special formula, it has an excellent vapor permeability and is an ideal façade covering for thermal insulation systems. DEKOFLY is a topcoat application coating that provides a natural and decorative image that helps to eliminate surface defects against external climatic conditions that provide a perfect fit and high adherence to the applied surfaces.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

The surface should be clean and dry. The roughness which will prevent the application on the applied floor should be removed from the paint, lime, powder paint, mold oil. Cracks and holes on the surface should be covered with repair mortars. In applications to be applied on old painted surfaces, it is necessary to check that the old paint adherence is complete.

HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS:

A bag of 25 kg DEKOFLY decorative plaster mortar in the appropriate container in the 6-7 liters of clean water bag is completely emptied. Preferably, the low-speed mixer is stirred for about 5 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained with the mixer. Mixed mortar is rested for 5 minutes and mixed again. If necessary, add water in the consistency of the mixture and adjust again. The amount of water involved should be adjusted according to the climatic conditions. Equal amounts of water should be used for each batch of mortar mixture. Otherwise, there may be differences in tone on the surface. The prepared mixture should be consumed within 1-2 hours depending on weather conditions. Do not reuse by adding water to the dried material.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS:

The prepared DEKOFLY mixture is spread smoothly on the surface with a steel trowel and the excess material is removed from the surface to obtain a layer with a particle thickness within it. DEKOFLY decorative coating should be patterned in a maximum of 10 when applied homogeneously to the application surface. In order to obtain desired grain texture, patterns are given by circular movements with the aid of plastic or polyurethane trowel. The trowel surface should be supplied frequently when the pattern is given. Products with the same charge number should be used on the same surface. Do not apply on surfaces exposed to direct sunlight with sunshine, fog in high wind, high relative humidity or during heavy rainfall and where there is a risk of freezing. The application is recommended to be carried out between + 5 ° C and + 35 ° C.

DRYING TIME:

About 24-36 hours at 20 ° C and 60% relative humidity

CONSUMPTION:

Depending on the surface, the surface is about 2,5-3 kg / m². It should be noted that it may vary according to the specified files and application conditions.
