Ordinary Portland cement (Type I)

Sulphate resistant cement (SRC) can be used for structural concrete whenever ordinary Portland cement, pozzolanic Portland cement or slag cement can be used under normal conditions.

The use of sulphate resistant cement is particularly beneficial under exposure/service conditions where the concrete is at risk of deterioration due to sulphate attack.
